At turnerhire, we believe that our people are fundamental to our success – past and future. From our account managers who scope your requirements, to our warehouse personnel and drivers, our culture is all about delivering outstanding customer service and demonstrating professionalism at every customer interaction. We have built a workplace culture based on mutual respect, inclusiveness and respect for the individual. Many employees have been with the company for several years.

We believe in ethical employment, and to this end have in place individual Australian Workplace Agreements (AWA) with all staff members. These have been approved by the Employment Advocate (AEO) and are compliant with the Federal Awards (Uniform Systems) Act 2003 (VIC) and the Workplace Relations Act (1996). The key benefit to our customers of this agreement is flexibility in rostering and resource allocation to meet your event needs.

Our team includes qualified event managers, building practitioners, trades people, warehouse personnel, laborers, drivers, and customer service teams – all with a dedicated ‘can do’ attitude. We also ensure that our people have industry specific qualifications, supported by constant in house training and development. This gives them the confidence and skills to perform to their very best. turnerhire also actively encourages our staff to obtain their Level 2 First Aid Certificate to further reinforce our strong belief in a safe and accident-free workplace. Other turnerhire training initiatives include:

  • Training and Appliance Testing
  • Certificate training in Office Administration
  • Certificate training in Transport and Warehouse
  • Occupational, Health and Safety.
